I am a former professional soccer player and aspiring difference-maker. The beautiful game has opened so many doors for me. I’ve been able to travel the world, experience new cultures, learn a variety of languages, and meet new people which have changed my perspective on life in the most beautiful way.
Growing up in Los Angeles, the road to professional soccer was pretty confusing and systematic. But my road to the MLS was anything but conventional. At 14 years old, I was given the opportunity to train for a summer in Brazil. That summer I decided to pursue soccer professionally with my family’s blessing and support. At the beginning of 10th grade, when most of my teammates were adjusting back to life in high school, I decided to be homeschooled, which allowed me to dedicate myself full-time to the game.
